Sleep is one of those uber important aspects of life that we need but that we get so little of. It’s crucial to our overall health, not just physical but mental and emotional too. There are several things you can do to get a good night’s sleep and I recently shared 4 things to do before going to bed, and today in honor of November being National Sleep Comfort month, I’m sharing this guide from the sleep experts at Casper (an ahh-mazing mattress company) to help you get those zzzz’s.
This guide outlines the main reasons we don’t get enough sleep. I’m sure you can relate to at least one of them right? It’s a universal issue we all face regardless of our backgrounds and what we do/have going on in our lives. We just can’t seem to get in enough hours of restful sleep to allow us to function to the best of our abilities. Lord knows I’m a complete zombie if I’ve barely slept lol.
So, it’s called beauty sleep for reason people. Who looks well rested after barely sleeping? No one! As for me, I’m usually kept up because I think too much and I’m constantly tossing and turning. When I take the time to meditate, do some light stretching before bed, or some reading, I sleep much better. One thing I will definitely try thanks to this is guide is lavender oil. I’m actually really into essential oils for beauty purposes but I’ve never tried it to help me sleep. Oh and the BYOB (bring your own blanket)…yeah, I’m about that life!
Hope this guide was helpful! Which issues do you struggle with when it comes to sleep?
* Thank you to Casper for the collaboration & for this helpful guide!*
